Ensuring the employability of unprivileged school dropout youth is an important thrust area for Bosch Limited. After a research on needs assessment (of both industry as well as learners), an end-to-end solutions model was developed, known as BRIDGE.
BRIDGE (Bosch’s Response to India’s Development and Growth through Employability Enhancement) is a pioneering Bosch CSR program that helps fulfilling the growing need for skilled manpower across sectors in India.
This 3-month short-term program has been designed and developed by Bosch with focus on employability and life skills and delivered by Bosch through BRIDGE Centers across India.
The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) is one of the oldest and largest non-profit community service organisations in India. A community-based organisation, we work collaboratively with government and non-government organisations, and partners to provide a range of programmes and services to build strong people, strong families, strong communities.
YMCA is a worldwide voluntary movement for women and men with special emphasis on youth. It seeks to build a community of justice with love, peace and reconciliation. It adopts a holistic approach of developing young minds, body and spirit, looking beyond the isolated symptoms, such as unemployment and homelessness.
Founded in 1844, it works through 14,000 local associations and over 58 million members in over 127 countries. The YMCA seeks to help young people to develop their wholesome personality – the mind, body and spirit – on sound principles.
Bombay YMCA, located in the western Indian city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay), is affiliated to the World Alliance of YMCAs, the Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs and the National Alliance of YMCAs in India.
Bombay YMCA is one of the liveliest YMCAs in the country and caters to men, women and children of all religions, creed and cultures with no bias whatsoever. Its activities are varied and provide opportunities for growth and development for every section of society. Based in the commercial capital of India, the Bombay YMCA has ample opportunities to reach out, touch and change the lives of many of the 18 million people, especially the youth and those from the lower strata of society.
In District 3141 one Club that is creating an impact and truly justifying its name is Rotary Club of Mumbai Royales since its inception in 2016. Since inception, the Club has been carrying out large projects which have significant impact in improving the lives of weaker section of the economy. It has done projects such as building toilet blocks, E-Learning Kits, Improving the gynaecological ward in a charitable hospital, contributing generously about Rs. one crore during COVID pandemic, organising paediatric heart surgery. Rotary year 2020-21 projects of donating 12 dialysis to two Charitable hospitals of Bhaktivedanta, donation of modern Sonography machines to Bhaktivedanta Hospital or this year 2021-22 project of making Chemotherapy Wards at Tata Memorial centre Kharghar, Royales are always coming forward for humanitarian cause. Since their inception (in last 6 years), Club has done / committee projects worth about Rs. 8 crore of which last year itself it did about 45 projects aggerating to Rs. 4.5 crore.

During Visionary year 2020-21, Rotary Club of Mumbai Royales have contributed over USD 115,000 in TRF, did about 45 projects aggregate to Rs. 4.50 crore, including four global grant projects, and other projects covering entire gambit of Rotary. Royales were one of the major contributors to District low cost housing project, donating 18 houses at Wada and participated in all district projects. Royales did about 50 speaker & fellowship meetings including the programme of Real-Life Hero Sonu Sood which had viewership of more than 10,000 Rotarians across the Country and world. They also had a one of the rare Speaker meet of HG Gaur Gopal Das on the occasion of inauguration of 12 dialysis global grant project at Bhakti Vedanta Hospital.
True to their name, they have a “Royalian Heart” and believe in the philosophy of caring, sharing & growing together.

Royales have undertaking Vocational project of Bosch Bridge Training course in association with YMCA. This course is for Drop out students of 12th Standard and in total 25 Students per batch will be trained by Bosch. The uniqueness of this project is granting of 100% employment to the students.
Bosch to provide Bridge training course at YMCA in association with Rotary club of Mumbai Royales who takes all responsibilities to run under its guidance on long term basis for 3 years minimum. The project would be extended for further period for all mutual interest. Royales will arrange all infrastructure at YMCA like projector, chairs and benches and training faculty at Royales cost. The Project is being carried out at Andheri Branch, Boys Home & Vocational Training Centre YMCA, D.N. Nagar, Andheri (W), Mumbai – 400 053. Bosch Application form and MOU has been signed by YMCA, BOSCH and Mumbai Royales.
Rotarian Mr. Rajesh Patel facilitated the project and got it to Royales. Rotary Club of Mumbai Royales President Prakash Ruia and Club Trainer Rtn. Chandramohan Dawar initiated the project during Rotary Year 2020-21. Current Year (2021-22) President Rtn. Deepak S. Gupta and President Elect (2022-23) Rtn. Sangeet Modi have also committed to support and continue the project during their term.
Royales will also take care of YMCA Orphanage and it will be good community service as well vocational training.
